TKE Alumni Hall of Fame and Homecoming 2025

The Fraters of the Kappa Tau Chapter gathered to hold the 2025 Alumni Hall of Fame as part of their Homecoming at the University of Arizona on November 7, 2025.
On November 7th, a gathering was held at the current chapter house at the University of Arizona campus located on Drachman Street to hold a formal ceremony to recognize the achievements of five outstanding alumni.
The Class of 2025 inductees in the Kappa-Tau Hall of Fame were Stephen Grande, ’74, Phil Gutt ’74, John Najarian ’78, Hirath Ghori “80 and Justin Giacotto ‘06. These alumni were selected for their passion for Kappa-Tau Chapter and Tau Kappa Epsilon, living the principals of TKE and their commitment in the daily lives to being better men for a better world as alumni.
Presenters included the outgoing Chapter Prytanis Anthony Eck, Hypophetes Dylan Harpster, Histor Per Oskar Casey, BOA members, Bob Newton (Omicron), Trey Wanamaker (Upsilon-Delta), Keith Ballard (Kappa-Tau ’82) and James “Ziggy” Benware (Sigma-Xi) and our special guest, Grand Grammateus Jim H. Johnston (Epsilon-Eta). The ceremony focused on the legacy and tradition of the Kappa-Tau and a challenge to find a long-term housing solution for the Chapter when their lease runs out at the current location.
We appreciate the attendance of the alumni and their guests who shared their passion and the important message of the relationships they built as members of our organization. The evening concluded with a reception which gave the collegiate and alumni an opportunity to share stories and celebrate the Bond of TKE and we look forward to seeing who joins the next class of the chapter’s Hall of Fame in 2026.
